We all Live on Homestead Earth
Hi, I’m Mike!
I’ve read a ton of resources as I’ve planned, planted, and raised my homestead, however, many of the homesteader resources gave off vibes that were not in tune with nature, and poor big agriculture practices bleed over into their practices on their homesteads.
Enough about them, on to me! I’m a legit liberal libertarian (basically a “rural Progressive”) homesteader in the Southern Maryland exurbs using sustainable and regenerative agriculture practices for permaculture (think fruit trees and edible berries), vegetable gardening, native plants, and raising chickens. I live in a forest and use all the resources it provides, such as the soil (duh), leaves, wood, and well water. Homestead Earth is my journey to sustainable living. While I’m still on-grid, I plan to go off-grid with solar in the future, but for now, I live on nuclear power from a plant several miles from Homestead Earth.
